Beekeeping training courses...

This course will be run by a team from the local Laddingford Beekeeping Club. The course will run this year for six lessons. There will be two lessons per week for three weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No previous knowledge is required, we cater for complete novices upwards.

The courses include:

1. Introduction – bees, types and life cycle

2. Getting started

3. Bee handling theory

4. Swarm control

5. Practical hive building

6. Honey, extraction, filtering storage and sale

Classes are generally from 8-10pm and a maximum of 20 per group, so please book early.
